New frame agreement with the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket)

20 February 2020

Triona further strengthens its position as a strategic supplier to the Swedish Transport Administration (Trafikverket) in the asset information area, through a new frame agreement “Strategisk kompetens för digital anläggningsinformation” roughly translated “Strategic competence for digital asset information”.

Trafikverket has carried out a new frame agreement tender for structures, standards, and management of digital asset information. Triona is one of three suppliers awarded the agreement. In Triona’s agreement Trimble and BIMPRO are sub-suppliers. The frame agreement allows Trafikverket to call off consultants and projects within two areas of competence:

“Information management system in asset information” – includes for example reference designators, asset hierarchy, standard designation system as well as requirements specification for the information needed to develop and manage assets where standards such as CoClass and ISO/CEN 19650 (BIM) are used.

“Standardization and modelling of asset information” – refers to open standards in SIS, buildingSMART International (bSI), Open Geospatial Consortium (OGC), ISO, and CEN among others. This area also includes the development of information models for assets as well as technologies and methods in semantic web, linked data and ontologies/OWL.

The agreement is an important step in Triona’s continued development in the transport infrastructure domain. With both specialized competence and products we can help our customers to streamline infrastructure lifecycle management based on open standards.

The frame agreement runs for 2 years with an option for a further 2-year extension.
