Project Overview

This program will be developed in steps, and this release contains the first version. Currently Project Overview has a fixed structure view of Project - Job - Specification - Activity, but going forward there will be a dialog for creating views.

  • Columns are grouped under headers for better structured information.
  • Columns for Notifications.
  • Structure and data is also fetched from Tender Calculation. This allows future views where progress is compared to the tender.
  • Project calculation has separate columns for base budget, ordered changes and total budget.

Invoice

New design of dialog for import rows to Invoice. The dialog allows the user to fetch data from all jobs within the project and includes new options for grouping and adding detailed information. This dialog will be developed in phases and currently supports

  • Import of rows from production calculation
  • Import of rows from Follow Up
  • Import of rows from Costs
  • Import of costs from Hours

Importing costs from product calculation is a new functionality in C7 Projects, while the other have been migrated from the previous solution. We have also added the functionality to open the dialog from Follow Up program enabling the possibility to create invoice from Follow up program.

Calculation

  • The changes recently made in Tender calculation, specifications grid added and new columns and column groups in Sales price, are now added in Production calculation as well.
  • Dimension grid is updated to latest AG Grid version.
  • Default values for Average speed and mark ups can now be added to projects and jobs and then used in calculations.

Changes and Additions

  • Pricelist selector added in grids in Changes and additions.

Project planning

  • Day time setting has been hidden on all planning board types.
  • Performance improvements.
  • Fixed a bug when sorting task list on Work order.
  • Fixed a bug when plannings couldn´t be added to specific dates. Also highlighting of selected date now works again.

Hours

A new, calculated column for Total cost (amount of hours multiplied with cost) has been added.

Personnel registry

We have added a new permission object for access to Personnel registry. The new object is USERADMIN and permissions should be given to those who should have access to personnel registry. For access to just view and select personnel in lists, use PERSONNEL object.

It is now possible to staff personnel on projects from personnel registry.

Bug fixes

  • Fixed a bug that occurred when opening a work order with planned activities.
  • Fixed a bug that occurred when opening a work order without location.
  • Fixed a bug in Project number generation, now it should work for all roles.
  • Enhanced user experience when searching for resources or writing activity names, sometimes keystrokes were lost.
  • Selected value is now marked in combo box drop down lists.
  • Sum row is now locked for editing.
  • Fixed a bug in Salary type when filtering on salary type code.
  • Filtering improvements done in AG Grid.

Known problems

There are unfortunately always some known problems that we did not have time to fix before the release. The following issues have been identified and will be solved in coming release:

  • When sending tender to more than one customer the customer representative’s name is not correct on additional customers. Does not affect the main tender customer.
  • When creating a summary invoice the part sums in invoice details grid shows the total sum instead. The total amount of the invoice is correct.
