1.33

C7 Projects 20260810 (1.33) focuses on UX improvements in tree/navigation, invoice and calculation workflows, plus stability fixes in integrations, validations, translations, and platform updates.

Highlights

  • Invoice receives the largest functional expansion in this version, including enhancing workflow for sending and crediting invoices, and including better row grouping support,
  • Calculation continues to improve with validation fixes, asphalt calculation corrections, better internal order handling, and additional support for price list related workflows
  • Tree view also sees a great deal of improvements with better spacing and utilization of information, as well as more comprehensive experience between web sessions.
  • Platform and technical maintenance includes the Angular 22 upgrade epic, Typescript to version 6.0.3 upgrade, as well as replacing the SixLabors.ImageSharp with SkiaSharp for thumbnail generation and MetadataExtractor location metadata in Projects and Field Reporting.

New features

Invoice

  • Improved performance and stability when creating invoices from the Follow-up module for work orders with a large number of line items.
  • Resolved a rounding discrepancy on 'Mer/Mindre förbrukning' invoice lines by increasing quantity precision to four decimals to ensure consistency between quantity, price, and total amount.
  • Resolved an issue where bookkeeping orders were not generated for nullified invoices by ensuring the bookkeeping status is correctly initialized during the nullification process
  • Resolved an issue in the invoice module where report buttons and external links would disappear when navigating between invoices with an active advanced filter, while also ensuring the filter status is correctly maintained when returning to the list view
  • Resolved an integration error where invoices were rejected due to rounding discrepancies by ensuring the calculated VAT amount on invoice rows correctly aligns with the total taxable amount and taxes
  • Fixed an issue where Invoice combo view did not update to reflect if an Invoice is Sent or marked as ready for billing from the options tab.
  • Fixes to moving invoice rows when combined with sub-total groups of invoice rows.
  • Resolved an issue in the Invoice program where filtering by customer representative triggered an error message, ensuring the filter now functions correctly
  • Introduced a confirmation prompt when invoicing that allows users to automatically update the invoice date to the current day if it was previously set to an earlier date
  • Changed how the credit invoice creation process is done. Now the user will remain on the original invoice and get a link to the credit invoice.

Tree view

  • Fixed a navigation issue in the tree view where expanding a project or sub-account caused the view to automatically scroll back to the previously selected item
  • Improved the tree view context menu by relocating the 'Remove from my projects' option to the bottom and introducing logical grouping with separators to prevent accidental removals.
  • Resolved a limitation in the tree view that restricted the number of favorite projects, ensuring that large lists are now correctly displayed and accessible
  • Enhanced the main filter tree view to automatically expand parent nodes when a new sub-job is created via the context menu, ensuring immediate visibility of the newly added item
  • Longer name descriptions of project, job, and folder names in the tree view are now truncated with an ellipsis and include tooltips to improve visual clarity and navigation.
  • Fixed an issue in main filter selection sometimes would be lost on session close.
  • Implemented a configuration setting to ensure that child jobs in specific statuses, such as 'Cancelled' (85), are treated as closed and do not block the closure of their parent jobs.

Calculation

  • Fixed an issue where it was possible to delete locked specifications.
  • Fixed an issue where incorrect translation terms where used in Sales price calculation sub program
  • Added possibility to show cost/unit for other calculation cases than cost/m2 or ton.
  • Comments added to one view of the calculation is now visible in other views
  • Increased usability buy making two fields read only in Asphalt calculation tool.
  • Fixed an issue where specification selection was missed when saving a new specification.

Project Administration and related areas

  • Introduced a new formatting template capability for C7 project fields that allows for real-time validation and restriction of user input.
  • Enhanced the combo view with a new drag handle and visual divider, enabling users to manually adjust the height of the list section for improved screen space management.
  • Updated the application background to a slightly darker grey to improve visual contrast with fast tabs while maintaining a white background for the tree view and program header.
  • Implemented a color picker in the Accounting Units program to allow users to visually categorize folders in the tree view by assigning colors defined in the 'AccountingUnitFolderColor' code table.
  • Updated the invoice administrator selection in project resources to only display users with the necessary permissions to send invoices, preventing invalid staffing assignments.
  • Implemented autostaffing functionality that automatically assigns linked personnel and machines to a project when their team is staffed.
  • Implemented a character limit for the Project Number field in the user interface to match database constraints, preventing system errors caused by excessively long input.

Field Reporting

  • Added an expandable team resource section to the Field Reporting cost module, allowing for inherited quantity values and individual resource adjustments.

Day Report

  • Implemented the EnableImportPriceFromPricelist configuration setting to ensure that imported cost follow-ups retrieve current pricing from the resource bank, accurately reflecting price list updates.
  • Resolved a visibility issue in day reports where multiple cost entries sharing the same resource number were incorrectly consolidated in edit mode by implementing the license plate number as a unique identifier for cost resources.
  • Resolved a validation error in Day reports that prevented multiple teams from reporting on the same work order and day by updating the uniqueness check to distinguish between different performers.
  • Restricted address search capabilities within map interfaces to edit mode only, preventing the inadvertent clearing of search queries when transitioning states

Terms

  • Fixed an issue where it was not possible to search in ID column in terms program.

Cost/Revenue

  • Introduced a new 'Able to rebook' column in the Cost/Revenue grid to facilitate the identification and filtering of the most current, rebookable verification within a transaction's rebooking history.
  • Fixed that Period is set for cost revenue when split or rebooked.

Work Order

  • Fixed an issue with planning newly created activities in Work order program.
  • Introduced a dedicated "Add planning" button in the work order interface to improve visibility and streamline the planning process for selected activities.

Forecast

  • Added tool tips information window over attest button

Quality follow up

  • Optimized the 'Quantity follow-up' register by implementing database indexing to resolve timeout errors and improve performance during data loading.

Project Planning

  • Resolved an issue in the planning dialogue where collapsing the "Detail planning field" resulted in incorrect casing and missing translations for the field label.

General UI and framework

  • Updated key frontend technologies to newer versions, ensuring continued support, compatibility, and reliability.
  • Fixed an issue were combo view no longer showed the list part if user tried to navigate to another program but then choose to stay and continue editing.
  • Implemented localized translations for the "Suggestions" and "Use this value" labels in resource search boxes across multiple modules, ensuring consistent language support for Swedish, Danish, Norwegian, and Finnish users.
