Transdev chooses FleetControl in Gästrikland

Transdev has operated regional transportation in the province of Gästrikland for some time. In December 2023 Transdev will start a new ten-year contract for regional transportation with 66 buses. FleetControl is included as a part of the system solution.
Triona is proud that Transdev once again selects FleetControl as the IoT onboard solution. This means that FleetControl’s onboard computer acts as the central unit and gateway for other hardware on the bus. The new contract will include 52 new electric buses. FleetControl will among other things display battery parameters such as the charging level on the traction battery for these new buses. Other examples of services that FleetControl will deliver are:
Vehicle data to a real-time computer system
Eco-drive support via the driver screen (for increased comfort and more environmentally friendly driving)
A new system where Transdev can create rules for when different warnings and alarm should be sent to the driver and/or traffic management (to increase efficiency)
The onboard computer is a completely new model with significantly increased capacity and several new functions. This enables third-party software to be run on the onboard computer as well as additional applications in the future without the need for further hardware installations.
