Trasé project implemented at Bane NOR

At the end of 2016 Triona signed an agreement with Norwegian Bane NOR for the delivery of a management system for traffic-related route information. The first version of the system has been approved by the customer and has gone into production.

The system was built with Triona’s product TNE^® as the central data source, and Trimble Novapoint which is used for the import and maintenance of the railway network and associated infrastructure data. The solution also includes a new web solution for the display of relevant data where map display is of central importance.

The solution has undergone extensive testing where both Triona, Bane NOR, and external users participated. Feedback from all parties has been very good and the system was implemented ahead of schedule and within budget. Bane NOR will now enter a phase where they will focus on process development and the maintenance of the system database. The collaboration with Triona continues with the maintenance and further development of the system.
