Keolis selects FleetControl

Triona and Keolis Sverige AB have signed a Frame Agreement regarding delivery of FleetControl as a part of Keolis’ new onboard vehicle communication platform. The first deliveries will be for Keolis’ extension of E22 traffic agreement with SL and new agreements with Västtrafik.
FleetControl is a product that fetches, publishes, and shares data from public transport vehicles. The system’s main components are a Multi-service IoT Edge Gateway and an Android based driver display, both using software from Triona. The communication onboard vehicles and towards back office is via MQTT according to the developing ITxPT standard.
“In order to meet SL’s specific information handling requirements according to agreement Cityavtal E22 that Keolis needs to comply with by June 2022, Keolis will invest in a new onboard vehicle platform and driver interface. “By using FleetControl, Keolis will acquire a modern vehicle-based solution that works well together with our other traffic management IT systems”, Sven Anderzén, Director Operational Support Systems, Keolis.
