Triona releases TNE version 3.8
In September, TNE 3.8 was released, and the TNE Editor module has now been added to our TNE cloud service. Further enhancements in this version include improved support for handling of information related to projects, organizations, and users.
TNE now has a powerful and user friendly web based service for editing of transport networks and related information (properties). TNE Editor has, for example, support for updating Swedish municipal NVDB properties and automatic update of deliveries to the Swedish NVDB. The cooperation with Sokigo started in 2020 and has now resulted in our first joint customers. In June, Mora, Nyköping, Täby, and Varberg municipalities ordered the TNE Editor module. TNE Editor is approved by Trafikverket for update of the Swedish NVDB.
TNE now has support for handling of multiple organizations as well as linking users and permissions to their respective organizations. There is also support for long-running transactions as well as editing networks and properties within a defined project using a separate project database.
We have also upgraded and added functionality to our user interface in several areas. Improvements have been made to the feature for flexible data import where for example linear objects like a road drainpipe can be linked as point objects. Further improvements have been made to the segmentation module and support for OpenTNF in this new version.
More news, we have integrated TNE with SINUS and now support data capture with registration of new objects from 360-degree images and laser scanning together with storing and further handling of the objects in TNE.
TNE is a powerful and open platform that can be customized and deployed locally but can also be offered as a cloud service. Integration with SINUS and our new TNE Editor offers new and exciting possibilities for new use cases at municipalities and other customers.
