Triona extends collaboration with the Norwegian Public Roads Administration

13 February 2025

We are proud to have won the tender for further maintenance and development of IT solutions PMS (Pavement Management System) and ROSITA, which are central tools in the Norwegian Public Roads Administration's, Statens Vegvesen, work with roads and maintenance.

Triona has worked with PMS since the system was launched in 2005 and has been an important partner for the Norwegian Public Roads Administration since 2021.

Efficient resource management and better roads

PMS is used for planning and administration of road paving projects and ROSITA handles the storage and distribution of paving data. Together, this gives the Norwegian Public Roads Administration full control over the maintenance of Norwegian roads and enables strategic planning based on budget and needs. PMS provides insight into current road standards via ROSITA and contributes to efficient and sustainable implementation of paving projects. In addition, the system simplifies tender processes by adding a facility for digital submission of tenders from contractors.

Both solutions are developed using Triona's product TNE (Transport Network Engine), which enables efficient management of facility data throughout the entire lifecycle (Asset Management). The platform can be used by infrastructure companies and entrepreneurs in road, rail and shipping for planning and monitoring investment, maintenance and operation activities, among others. TNE fully supports NVDB (National Road Data Bank) and has been in use by the Norwegian Road Administration since 2005.

We thank the Norwegian Road Administration for the trust in continuing the collaboration and look forward to further developing the systems and contributing to more efficient, modern solutions for Norwegian road management.
