City of Stockholm selects Triona’s TNE Editor

The City of Stockholm has chosen Triona's cloud service TNE Editor to update its road network data in the national road database (NVDB). The agreement means that the City of Stockholm joins a growing group of leading actors, including the Swedish Transport Administration and the City of Gothenburg. This agreement also strengthens the position of TNE Editor as the primary choice for efficient editing of road network data in Sweden.
Information stored in the NVDB is used in many different contexts, and demand for up-to-date and quality-assured road network data has increased. For a large city with a high rate of infrastructure changes, there are also high demands on information quality and short lead times when updating both the road network and related properties.
TNE Editor, a tool that supports online editing and data updates in the NVDB, was selected by the City of Stockholm so that these requirements could be met.
TNE Editor is a powerful, proven, and future-proof solution developed for simple and efficient editing of road network data, including in the NVDB. TNE Editor is already used by major actors such as the Swedish Transport Administration, the Land Survey (Lantmäteriet), and a number of Swedish municipalities. The City of Stockholm agreement strengthens the TNE Editor’s position as a tool of choice for actors with high demands for robust and efficient workflows.
The City of Stockholm thus becomes part of a clear path where Sweden's largest actors are choosing the same platform for online editing and updating of data to the NVDB, something which creates good prerequisites for standardised working methods, knowledge sharing, and continued product development.

TNE Editor, which is a part of the TNE platform, supports editing of network and related data in an efficient way. For Trafikverket, Lantmäteriet, and several Swedish municipalities, TNE Editor is an important tool to manage and update the data stored in the NVDB.
