Asset Information Management System to ACCIONA and Nye Veier

9 May 2019

Triona and Trimble will carry out a pilot project to utilize digital information from ACCIONA and norwegian Nye Veier, from planning, through design and development to a maintenance phase. The solution will handle integrated BIM/GIS-data and "asset management". The pilot will be carried out as a part of the road project Ranheim-Værnes which Nye Veier awarded to the Spanish contractor ACCIONA Construction.

The main objective with the pilot project is to utilize and manage data through the complete road lifecycle, from planning, through design and development to a maintenance phase. To achieve this standard products have been chosen as well as open standards and integration platforms. By doing this we can ensure the solution not only meets the current requirements but is also flexible enough to scale the usage so that future requirements can be met. This can apply to inspections, condition assessments, documentation, necessary measures, and management of digital twins.

The solution combines the Quadri and TNE standard products to ensure seamless interaction between BIM models and networks with associated data objects. These products will be accessed via unified APIs.  As a part of the delivery a role-based web portal will be developed which allows users to view project areas in their own information layer and display the different BIM models from the construction phase.

An important part of the pilot is the integration with the Norwegian National Road Database (NVDB) at the Norwegian Public Road Administration, where current infrastructure associated data is stored. The standardised data format OpenTNF and the classification system CoClass will be used In the solution.
