Triona photographs road network in new Drammen

Triona won the procurement to photograph the road network (360° images) in Drammens municipality. In total we have photographed just over 700km of roads in the new Drammen municipality. This includes both roads, footpaths, and cycle paths. The new Drammen municipality consists of the former Drammen, Nedre Eiker, and Svelvik municipalities.

Triona has previously photographed the municipal roads in the Nedre Eiker and Svelvik municipalities. However, in the Summer we photographed the whole road network in Drammen, more than 700km of A-roads, B-roads, and municipal roads, in addition to footpaths and cycle paths. Dramman municipality had strict requirements regarding image quality, accuracy, image resolution, environment, and sustainability and Triona are very proud to have won this contract.

The SINUS-foto poduct gives users access to 360° panaroma images. SINUS-foto is used to view images, but it is also tightly integrated with the NVDB (National Road Database in Norway) and is a very effective tool for updating data to the NVDB.
