BEAst 4.0 helps Triona drive sustainability initiatives
Triona is a member of the BEAst organization and at this year’s conference Lars Lindgren, product owner for TRACS Flow at Triona, was one of the presenters.
The BEAst 4.0 standard defines reporting of emission data using the Peppol Interoperability Framework. All actors within the construction sector are committed to delivering according to this standard and it is also a high priority for Triona. As Triona today have several products supporting the relationship between clients and supplier, BEAst will become an integral part both for communicating important information between various systems and for reporting.
TRACS Flow is one of Triona’s products and it is part of several of the work streams within BEAst. Our work with BEAst 4.0 has resulted in the following new initiatives:
- Participation in the standardization working group,
- In customer workshops defining how TRACS Flow will support BEAst 4.0 in 2024,
- Through prototyping and integration, the data flow is defined for the required reporting.
Triona’s work within BEAst covers, in addition to TRACS Flow, also the Triona Distance Service and FleetControl products which enhance TRACS Flow order data with relevant information.
Within C7 Projects, work is also taking place on how to present emissions and order data which is reported via BEAst from the daily project reports.
The above shows examples of how Triona is active in driving sustainability initiatives within the construction industry.
