Biometria streamlines forest road updates with TNE Editor

Sweden has over 200,000 km of forest roads – a vital infrastructure for forestry, timber transport, and road maintenance. These roads are registered in the National Road Database (NVDB), managed by the Swedish Transport Administration, where updated data is used by many stakeholders in the industry.

As the coordinator of forest road data, Biometria is responsible for delivering updates to the NVDB. Previously, this required manual handling by the Swedish Transport Administration, leading to long processing times and delayed access to current information. With TNE Editor, the process has been streamlined, and updated road data is now available much faster.
